Steven David “Steve” Daines (born August 20, 1962 (age 58)) is the junior Unites States Senator from Montana. He is a member of the Republican Party and was elected in November 2014.

Daines serves on the Committee on Energy and Natural Resources; the Committee on Commerce, Science and Transportation; the Committee on Indian Affairs; and the Committee on Appropriations.

In January 2019, Daines announced he had created a pro-life caucus in the U.S. Senate.[1][2]
