Trees are an important part of the Bible. They were created on the Third Day of Creation<.ref>Genesis 1:11-12</ref>. It was from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil that Eve brought evil into the world.<ref>Genesis 3:1-7</ref>. Jotham used a parable about trees to criticize his brother Abimelech.<ref>Judges 9</ref>. And it was on the wood of a tree that our Savior, Jesus Christ, was crucified.
