June 4, 1971) is a constitutional [[conservative]] lawyer and is the Republican nomination for Senator-elect from Utah, having won the [[U.S. Senate]] representing [[Utah]]2010 election. Mike is Lee was backed by the [[Tea Party Movement]] and the [[Senate Conservatives Fund]]. He scored a primary victory against incumbent Republican [[Bob Bennett]]. He promises to reduce the cost, size and scope of the federal government. His father was an Assistant U.S. Attorney General under President Ford and U.S. Attorney General under [[Ronald Reagan]]. Lee's legal career includes a one-year clerkship with Justice [[Samuel Alito]] at the U.S. Supreme Court. Mike and his wife Sharon have three children and live in Alpine, Utah.
