'''Puebla''' is the fourth largest city in [[Mexico]] and is the capital of the state of the same name. Founded in 1532 by Sebastian Ramirez de Fuenleal, archbishop of Santo Domingo, it became see seat of the bishopric originally created in 1526 at [[Tlaxcala]]<ref>Encyclopaedia Britannica 1911</ref>. On [[Cinco de Mayo|May 5th]], 1862, Mexican forces under General Ignacio Zaragoza defeated the [[France|French]] army in Puebla. This victory is celebrated every '[[Cinco de Mayo]]'. Puebla is sometimes called 'Puebla de los Angeles' (''The City of [[Angels]]''), though the official name is 'HerĂ³ica Puebla de Zaragoza' (''Heroic Puebla of Zaragoza''). This city is listed as a UNESCO [[World Heritage Site]].
It is also one of the most [[Catholic]] cities in Mexico.
