/* What a joke... */ new section
The intro states that Obama "chose not to use the Bible for his real, private oath." His first oath was also real. It was cited as being legally binding. It's misleading to call the second oath "real." Also, did he choose not to use a Bible, or did he just not use one? This is an important point. Anyone care to look into this and change it if necessary? [[User:Dantès|Dantès]] 17:19, 2 March 2009 (EST)

== What a joke... ==

This paragraph in the intro is idiotic:
:"Obama refers to America in the third person, as a foreigner would. In his first television interview after becoming president, Obama declared that "all too often the United States starts by dictating." Earlier, when Obama gave his acceptance speech, he said "We may not get there in one year or even one term, but America - I have never been more hopeful than I am tonight that we will get there."
Let me present a quote from George W. Bush:
:"'''America has''' no truer friend that Great Britain. Once again, we are joined together in a great cause – so honored the British Prime Minister has crossed an ocean to show his unity of purpose with America. Thank you for coming, friend. (emphasis mine)
:'My trip to Asia begins here in Japan for an important reason. It begins here because for a century and a half now, '''America and Japan''' have formed one of the great and enduring alliances of modern times. From that alliance has come an era of peace in the Pacific.
There are plenty more examples of Bush speaking about the US in the same exact way Obama has. So Bush speaks like a foreigner now? No wonder millions of people read Wikipedia than they do Conservapedia. Alright, the website is biased from the conservative perspective; that doesn't mean you have to be off-the-deep-end ridiculous about it. Do yourselves a favor and remove this nonsense.
