An interesting case has been brewing in Wisconsin for many years. They claim [[EPA]] restrictions on outhouses interferes with their free exercise of religion. [https://dailyreporter.com/2008/06/04/amish-on-the-outs-with-officials-over-outhouses/] So far they've lost in state courts. I don't know if it's made it to the federal level yet. :Very interesting. I'm not sure what eventually happened in that case, but that [[Amish]] group won in the [[U.S. Supreme Court]] last year on a related issue, in ''[[Mast v. Fillmore Cty.]]'', 141 S. Ct. 2430 (2021).
