The universe is not expanding at the speed of light.
The [[universe]] is everything there is in regards to material existence.
Some scientists believe that the universe formed approximately 14 billion years ago, and [[Big Bang Theory|has been expanding]] at the [[speed of light]] ever since, making it about 28 billion [[light year]]s across. Interestingly, modern scientific ideas about the nature of the universe hypothesize that for any location, it appears that that location is at the center of this expansion.
