Sassolite

Sassolite (or sassoline) is a typically white or gray colored mineral which is the natural form of boric acid.[1] It can also occasionally be colorless, or have a yellow or brown hue.[2] It is typically found in the form of an incrustation, or as tabular triclinic crystals.[3] It it often located near hot springs. It was first discovered in the Sasso Pisano geothermal area in Tuscany; this is how it was given its name.
Sassolite's chemical formula is B(OH)3 or H3BO3[4]
