The Soviet-made Missile, SS-5 "Skean" as titled by NATO, was a Intermediate Range Ballistic Missile (IRBM) capable of carrying a megaton nuclear warhead to greater distances than most other missiles.

The SS-5 was a larger type of missile placed in Cuba during the Cuban Missile Crisis.
