Rehome or re-homing is a euphemism for getting someone else to take responsibility for an unwanted animal or pet. In modern culture, rehoming also describes parents illegally giving up custody of their adopted child to another family. The issue has come to light when Russia banned adoptions to the USA. This practice is most concerning as children are placed with unfit parents, homosexual couples, pedophiles and other lowlife adults without regard to child safety or well-being. Underground internet websites facilitate the exchange and they are shut down when found.
