Raising Helen

Raising Helen is one of the most conservative movies to come out of Hollywood in recent history. A forward-thinking couple designate the mom's younger sister as their 3 children's legal guardian in case of the parents' death. After a fatal car accident, a young woman with a modeling agency job takes custody over her frumpy "perfect mom" older sister's objections and moves the kids from a New Jersey suburb to Queens. She enrolls them in a Lutheran parochial school to avoid big city gang influence.
