Psycho is a classic psychological thriller-horror film directed by Alfred Hitchcock and written by Joseph Stefano. The film stars Anthony Perkins, Vera Miles, John Gavin, and Janet Leigh. The film came out in 1960, and is best known for its iconic scene in which a woman is murdered while taking a shower, often referred to as 'The Shower Scene'.

The remake of the film came out in 1998.

Synopsis

A Phoenix secretary steals $40,000 from her employer's client, goes on the run and checks into a remote motel run by a young man under the domination of his mother.
