Protoceratops was a species of Ornithischia. There are two species within the Protoceratops: the P. andrewsi and the P. hellenikorhinus. The first Protoceratops was found in Mongolia. The most famous Protoceratops fossil involves one buried alive while fighting a Velociraptor; its beak was clamping down on one of its arms, and the predator's claws were hooked behind the frill.
