The Protect Women’s Sports Act is bipartisan legislation introduced in the House of Representatives by Tulsi Gabbard (D-HI) and Markwayne Mullin (R-OK) in order to limit participation in women’s sports to biological females.
The legislation, if passed, would prohibit biological males from from competing in sports against biological females, and instead would recognize the inherent biological distinction between males and females.
This legislation attempts to return to the intent of Title IX, which had the purpose of providing opportunity to females to compete in high school and college athletics.
