Pharisaic Judaism

Pharisaic Judaism refers to that false sect which, disregarding and rejecting the teaching of Christ and His Apostles, separated itself from Biblical Judaism and Apostolic Christianity which is its true continuation. Pharisaic Judaism denied that Jesus Christ is the Virgin-Born Son of God, while the Catholic Church has taught this for 2000 years, as the Prophets of God going back to Isaiah and David had taught it in the Old Testament.

Errors and notorious heresies of this sect

Preaching Circumcision instead of the Cross

One of the major heresies of this sect is to preach Circumcision instead of the Cross.

Saint Paul makes reference to it in Gal 5: "And I, brethren, if I yet preach Circumcision, why do I yet suffer persecution? then is the offence of the Cross ceased." (Gal 5:11)

Denying the Virgin Birth of Jesus Christ

Pharisaic Judaism most impiously denies that Isaiah 7:14, 700 years before Jesus Christ, prophesied that God would become Flesh and be born of the Virgin Mary, as Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ precisely fulfilled to the letter: "According to the rabbis, the Hebrew word translated “virgin” in our text always means “young woman of marriageable age.” This particular word is used only seven times in the Tenach (Old Testament): Genesis 24:43; Exodus 2:8; Psalm 68:25; Song of Solomon 1:3 and 6:8; Proverbs 30:19 and Isaiah 7:14. It is never used of a non-virgin! Furthermore, in Isaiah 7:14, the Hebrew has the definite article “ha,” “the,” before “almah.” The Hebrew word “ha” tells us that this is a specific person: “the” virgin [Mary]...

Why? Not one of the times the word “almah” is used does it mean anything other than a virgin. Clearly, “bethulah” and “almah” can be used interchangeably, as they are in Genesis 24. It is interesting that Rashi (1040-1105 A.D.) wrote, “Behold the almah shall conceive and bare a son and shall call his name Immanuel. This means that our Creator shall be with us. And this is the sign: the one who shall conceive is a girl (naarah), who never in her life has had intercourse with any man. Upon this shall the Holy Spirit have power.” (Mikraoth Gedoloth on Isaiah 7:14)."

Pharisaic Judaism and its Anti-Gentilism and Christophobic Bigotry in Israel

CBN News has repeatedly reported on the Persecution of Christians in Israel. This comes from Pharisaic Judaism and its bigoted teaching against Christians. While Christendom stands with Israel and supports Israel's right to exist contra mundum (against the world), some Jews hate and persecute Christians and spit on Christian Clergy. Thankfully, other more moderate Jews respect Christian Pastors and Priests, but more progress is needed. Christians in Israel should enjoy the same rights and full freedoms Jews enjoy in America or Europe, just like Christians in India should enjoy the same rights and full freedoms Hindus enjoy in America or Europe, and the same with Christians in Pakistan and Muslims in America or Europe. The Golden Rule to treat others as you want to be treated is being violated by these Persecutors.
