Pete Rouse

Pete Rouse (born April 15, 1946 in New Haven, Connecticut) was the White House Chief of Staff under the Obama administration until January 2011. Previously he served as a senior White House adviser and co-chairman of the Obama-Biden Transition Project.

Rouse graduated from Colby College in 1968 and received a master's degree from the London School of Economics in 1970.[1] He was Chief of Staff for Senate Majority Leader Tom Daschle, and then Senator Obama after Daschle's 2004 defeated for reelection.
