Music Videos
Along with the album release, the group released a series of music videos (one for each song in the order shown below). The videos centered around three generations of a family (parents Arthur and Faye, son Charles, and granddaughter Sammy) over an extended timeline.
Track Listing and Video
- The Bridge (set in 1969, Arthur and Faye are a married couple moving into their new home)
- Nobody (Arthur enters the military during the Vietnam War- not necessarily with Faye's blessing, which implies that he joined voluntarily - while Faye is pregnant with Charles)
- Awaken Me (Faye receives the news that Arthur has died serving our country, while still pregnant with Charles)
- One Awkward Moment (set in 1999, Charles comes home to Sammy after a long day at work; Sammy is showing the signs of having artistic talent just like her mother - who died while giving birth to Sammy, but now asks Charles if his mother also died the same way - it is portrayed that Charles, and his mother, are estranged)
- One More Song for You (Charles reads the letter that Arthur wrote to him while he and Sammy rebuild their relationship with Faye)
- Love Moved First (as the relationship grows - it is revealed that Faye also has artistic talent, specifically pottery - Faye gives Charles the news that she is terminally ill)
- In the Hands of the Potter (Charles and Sammy now care for Faye in her last days; at the video's end, Charles discovers that Faye has died)
- Even When You're Running (set in the "present day" - 2019 - Sammy - now a young adult - is estranged from Charles. She makes it to the only safe place she knows - her grandmother's house; while there, she accidentally breaks a clay pot that Faye had made, which becomes a turning point in her life)
- The Change in Me (still living at Faye's house, Sammy begins to once again use her artistic talents; she also calls Charles and re-establishes their relationship)
- Start Right Here (Charles and Sammy rebuild their relationship while rehabilitating Faye's house, which - outside of Sammy's living there for a time - has remained dormant)
- Home (set "one year later", with neither Charles nor Sammy planning to live in Faye's house, they turn it into a group home for single mothers)
