Never Gonna Give You Up (song)

Never Gonna Give You Up is a popular song by British singer Rick Astley. It would become a #1 hit in 1987 and is his best-known work.

When the Internet began to gain popularity, an Internet meme known as "Rickrolling" would be centered around this song, whereby an unsuspecting person would be encouraged to click a link only to have the song's video appear (Astley himself has admitted to falling for it). (An alternative has a person encouraged to call a number, and hear the song once the call is answered.)
