Monopoly money is artificial currency used in the Parker Brothers game Monopoly. The denominations are in $1, 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, and 500 dollar increments. The "money" has no real value.

The phrase "monopoly money" has become a term used to delineate real currencies which have become worthless due to excess printing. Examples of this include the Yugoslavian Dinar, the Zimbabwean Dollar, the Venezuelan Bolivar, and the German Papiermark.
