Mary Ann Mendoza is an angel mother whose son Sgt. Brandon Mendoza was killed by an illegal alien on May 12, 2014.

After her son's death, Mendoza has been a strong opponent of illegal immigration and sanctuary cities.[1] After it was announced that she officially joined the Trump Advisory Board,[2] Twitter "coincidentally" ordered her to delete posts deemed as "hate speech" over Mendoza's vehement criticism of far-left senator Kamala Harris as well as for using the term "illegal alien". In addition, despite targeting Mendoza, Twitter did not police users who sent threatening messages to her.
