"Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds" is a popular song written by Paul McCartney and John Lennon for The Beatles' album, Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. John Lennon claimed the title of the song came from the title of a drawing that his son, Julian, had made of his classmate, but many suspect that it is a drug reference.[1] The title "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds" can be abbreviated to LSD.
