Loving You is the second motion picture Elvis Presley starred in. It is his first in Techincolor and with top billing. In the movie, Presley plays Deke Rivers, a delivery man. The film originally had three working titles; Lonesome Cowboy, Something for the Girls, and Running Wild. However, it was titled Loving You to match the title song.
Deke Rivers, delivery man is discovered by publicist Glenda Markle and country-western musician Tex Warner. Rivers is has a fast car, and has charisma, which really sets him apart. One day when he is singing, he is seen throughout the small town he works in. Romantic tensions rise as Susan, another singer in the group offers him devotion and Glenda offers him an excellent future.[1]
