Louis Leakey (1903-1972) (full name Louis Seymour Bazett Leakey) was born in Kenya on August 7, 1903 to Harry and Mary Leakey, English missionaries working at Kabete Mission in Africa. Dr. Leakey was a researcher who developed theories on human origins, and authored many books.[1][2]
