Latter Prophets

The Latter Prophets are distinguished from the Former Prophets in the Hebrew canon of Prophets, which span 8 books:

1. historical Book of Joshua (a Former Prophet)
2. historical Book of Judges (a Former Prophet)
3. historical Book of Samuel (a Former Prophet)
4. historical Book of Kings (a Former Prophet)
5. Book of Isaiah (a Latter Prophet)
6. Book of Jeremiah (a Latter Prophet)
7. Book of Ezekiel (a Latter Prophet)
8. Twelve (Minor) Prophets, written on single scroll, containing the books of Hosea, Joel, Amos, Obadiah, Jonah, Micah, Nahum, Habakkuk, Zephaniah, Haggai, Zechariah, and Malachi.
