Larsen's Opening
From Conservapedia
Larsen's Opening in chess is 1.b3 by white. This moves the pawn in front of the queen's knight forward by one square, in order to allow the bishop to take control of the diagonal (fianchetto).
It is important to subsequently move 3.e4 to prevent the other side's center pawn from causing havoc, if black moves 1.e5.
This opening is named after the Danish Grandmaster Bent Larsen who won tournaments with this in the 1970s.
