Labor shortages in Russia

Russia is presently grappling with an acute and worsening labor shortage that threatens the stability of the Russian economy. It is driven by a combination of long-term demographic decline, the ongoing war in Ukraine, and international sanctions, the shortage is estimated at around 5 million workers currently, with projections reaching 11 million by 2030.[1]
