Kid Rock (real name: Robert Ritchie) is a conservative musician from the state of Michigan. He is best known for his eclectic style of combining hip hop with southern rock. He supported Mitt Romney in 2012[1] and Donald Trump in 2016.[2][3]
Kid Rock considered running for Senate in Michigan as a Republican in 2018 but ultimately decided not to.
In October 2026, Kid Rock warned against Islamic Abdul El Sayed, compared him to 911 and Fort Hood shooter jihadists, drawing attention to El Sayed's stands. Trump reposted Kid Rock’s warnings of religious ‘civil war’: ‘El-Sayed’s a wolf in sheep’s clothing.[4]
