K-129
From Conservapedia
The K-129 was a Soviet Ballistic Missile Submarine of the Golf-class that sank in the Pacific Ocean.[1] It is most well-known for being recovered from the seafloor by the CIA using the purpose-built ship the Glomar Explorer during a covert operation named Project Azorian. [2] [3] The ship Glomar Explorer was scrapped in 2015. [4]
An attempt by the media to discover information related to the Glomar Explorer project led to the unofficial legal term "Glomar response", a response to an inquiry which states "we can neither confirm nor deny the existence of (whatever information is requested)".
