Jeb Bush's religious views
From Conservapedia
Jeb Bush is a convert to the Roman Catholic Church from the Episcopalian Church. He describes why:
| “ | [The] sacraments of the Catholic Church, the timeless nature of the message of the Catholic Church, and the fact that the Catholic Church believes in and acts on absolute truth as its foundational principles and doesn’t move with modern times as my former religion did. | ” |
His wife is Catholic, from Mexico. But Bush did not convert when he married. He converted after he lost his race for governor of Florida in 1994. Bush subsequently took classes in Catholicism, and fully converted in 1996.
