James E. Hansen

James E. Hansen is a global warming alarmist. He equates generation of electricity via coal with the Holocaust.[1] He also compares those who disagree with him to Holocaust deniers.[2] Hansen believes that oil company executives should be tried for "crimes against humanity".[3]

He has been calling for acts of civil disobedience against the use of coal. Hansen defended vandals in court because they targeted a coal-fired power station.[4] His former supervisor, Dr. John Theon, said, "that Jim Hansen has gone off the deep end." [5]

Dr. John S. Theon rebuked his claims about global warming and stated Hansen was an embarrassment to NASA with his alarmist climate claims.[6]

NASA scientist James Hansen who runs NASA's Goddard Institute for Space Studies (GISS) has created worldwide media frenzy with his dire climate warnings, his call for trials against those who dissent against man-made global warming fear, and his claims that he was allegedly muzzled by the Bush administration despite doing 1,400 on-the-job media interviews.

On January 19, 2009, the UK Guardian quoted Hansen's dire warning that the about-to-be-inaugurated Barack Obama "Has Four Years to Save Earth" from the impact of global warming.[7]
