The Isosceles Triangle Theorem is a theorem stating that if two sides of a triangle are equal, the two angles of that triangle which include the third side are equal as well. This is proven by bisecting the angle between the equal sides to form two new triangles which are congruent by SAS congruency. By CPCTE, the two aforementioned angles are equal.[1]
