Irwin Goodman

Irwin Goodman (real name Antti Yrjö Hammarberg, 14th of September 1943 - 14th of January 1991) was a finnish musician. Irwin became a success through his protesting songs about finnish community. Irwin made the most compositions of his songs himself and the songs were written by Vexi Salmi. Irwin Goodman mainly performed rock and folk music. During his career Irwin recorded many hit singles, such as "Työmiehen lauantai", "Ryysyranta", "Sepalus auki" and "Kieltolaki". Goodman is one of the most loved musicians in Finland, because of his romantic and ironic lyrics.
