Iraqi troop withdrawal
From Conservapedia
Iraqi troop withdrawal has been a hot political issue for the United States almost from the moment allied troops invaded the country. The two main ideas have been:
- unconditional withdrawal on a set timetable, or else
- withdrawal based on conditions on the ground
Democrats favor unconditional withdrawal.[1] Republicans say it would be better for Iraq to take into account actual conditions in Iraq.[Citation Needed]
