A human wave attack is primarily a military tactic[1] which employs repeated waves of attack as a way to drain and overrun defenders on an enemy line. The term has been used to describe tactics used by the Chinese military during the Korean War.

The 2018 Migrant caravan also resembles the use of human waves, as repeated caravans have arrived in intervals as new caravans are formed.
