Giannis Antetokounmpo was the most valuable player in the NBA for the 2018–2019 season, despite having been drafted only 15th years earlier.
Apparently a devout Christian, Antetokounmpo's motto is "walk by faith, not by sight."[1] He did the sign of the cross, in the tradition of the Greek Orthodox Church, upon learning that he had been drafted into the NBA.[2]
