Gabriel Over the White House was a 1933 dystopian film produced prior to the election of FDR, however it was not released until after inauguration. The film depicts a president who falls into a coma, and then after waking up is under the divine influence of the Archangel Gabriel. The President becomes a dictator and reigns over the country.
