Fraser Anning is an Australian former Senator representing Queensland. Appointed to the Senate after the forced resignation of a member, he has been constantly vilified by the mainstream media and establishment politicians over remarks he has made. He did not win re-election in 2019.

He has blamed a massacre on Muslim worshipers in New Zealand, in which more than 50 people were shot and killed, on Muslim immigration, which caused him to be labeled a "racist" and have a teenager smash an egg on his head at a press conference.[1] The mainstream media came to the defence of the teenager and Anning was subsequently censured for his comments.
