Fact family

A fact family is a group of arithmetic facts which use the same numbers. For example, <math>7 - 3 = 4</math> and <math>7 - 4 = 3</math> and <math>3 + 4 = 7</math> and <math>4 + 3 = 7</math>. Students in primary school are told to memorize these related facts together.
