Excusitis
From Conservapedia
Excusitis is a term coined by Dr. David J. Schwartz in his book The Magic of Thinking Big to describe the tendency of underachievers to avoid taking responsibility and merely make excuses instead. An example of "excusitus" would be a liberal claiming a conservative, practical, and straightforward approach to solving a societal problem will not work because the problem is supposedly too complex.
