Euler's Equation

Euler's Equation, or more specifically Euler's polyhedron formula, expresses the elegant, simple truth that no matter how a surface of a sphere is sliced up to create a polyhedron, the following is always true:

where V is the number of vertices, E is the number of edges, and F is the number of faces of the polyhedron.
