Eternal death

Eternal death is the tragic perpetual state of those who die estranged from God, the source of life for the soul.

Hell is a term for eternal death. Hell is mentioned only in the New Testament rather than the Old Testament.[1]

Indeed, "eternal" is mentioned only 4 times in the Old Testament (ESV), compared with 69 times in the New Testament.
