Essay:What YouTube's updated censorship rules say vs. what they really mean

The Gateway Pundit recently reported on YouTube and its parent company Google updating its rules on censorship in the wake of more evidence coming in on illegal Democrat election fraud during the 2020 presidential election. Details on the updated rules can be found at TGP's article below:

Breaking: YouTube Announces New Censorship Rules – Will Take Down Videos Alleging Fraud and Disputing 2020 U.S. Presidential Election Results

Now, using those rules as written, here's what YouTube/Google really means in their updated rules, with selected words and phrases (contained within bolded brackets) inserted/substituted where appropriate:

(Illegally undermining) the 2020 U.S. election

Updates to our work (undermining) the integrity of the 2020 U.S. election.

Over the past weeks and months, we’ve seen people coming to YouTube to learn more about where and how to vote or learning more about a candidate or an issue. We’ve seen news organizations grow their audience. And we’ve seen people turn to YouTube for the latest election results or simply to follow an historic event with the highest voting turnout in over a century in the U.S.

Our main goal going into the election season was to make sure we’re connecting people with (what we say is "authoritative information"), while also (illegally) limiting the reach of (the truth and the facts). The work here is ongoing and we wanted to provide an update.

(Illegally censoring) content that (reports facts and the truth)

Our Community Guidelines prohibit spam, scams, or other manipulated media (and we only apply those rules to conservatives), (while we allow liberals to use YouTube to) coordinate influence operations, and any content that seeks to incite violence. Since September, we’ve (illegally censored and silenced) over 8000 channels and thousands of (fact-based) elections-related videos for (reporting the truth about illegal vote fraud by the Democrat Party to cover for them). Over 77% of those removed videos were taken down before they had 100 views.

We also work to make sure that the line between what is removed and what is allowed is drawn in the right place. Our policies prohibit misleading viewers about where and how to vote. We also (illegally censor) content (uncovering) widespread fraud or errors changed the outcome of a historical U.S. Presidential election. However in some cases, that has meant allowing controversial views on the outcome or process of counting votes of a current election as election officials have worked to (rig vote) counts.

Yesterday was the safe harbor deadline for the U.S. Presidential election and enough states have (illegally rigged) their election results to (install) a ("president-elect" bought and paid for by Communist China). Given that, we will start (illegally) removing any piece of content uploaded today (or anytime after) that (informs) people by (reporting) that widespread fraud or errors changed the outcome of the 2020 U.S. Presidential election, in line with our approach towards historical U.S. Presidential elections. For example, we will remove videos (revealing) that a Presidential candidate won the election due to widespread software glitches or counting errors. We will begin enforcing this policy today, and will ramp up in the weeks to come (in our efforts to hide the truth). As always, news coverage and commentary on these issues can remain on our site if (it covers what we decide it should cover, including outright lies and denials by the mainstream media).

Connecting people to (what we say is "authoritative information")

While only a small portion of watch time is election-related content, YouTube continues to be an important source of election news. On average 88% of the videos in top 10 search results related to elections came from (what we say are "authoritative news sources") (amongst the rest are things like newsy late-night shows, creator videos and commentary). And the most viewed channels and videos are from news channels like NBC and CBS (which we know lie and fabricate what they claim is "news", but we choose to ignore that inconvenient truth for the sake of covering for them and for pushing the liberal narratives we share with them).

We also showed information panels linking both to Google’s election results feature, which sources election results from (non-credible, liberal-biased "sources" like) The Associated Press, and to the Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Security Agency’s (CISA) “Rumor Control” page for ("debunking", without proof on our part, the truth about election integrity), alongside these and over 200,000 other election-related videos. Collectively, these information panels have been shown over 4.5 billion times. Starting today, we will update this information panel, linking to the “2020 Electoral College Results” page from the Office of the Federal Register, noting that as of December 8, (select Democrat-ruled) states have (illegally rigged) Presidential election results, with Joe Biden (installed) as the ("president-elect"). It will also continue to include a link to CISA, (lying to the public by claiming) that states certify results after ensuring ballots are properly counted and correcting irregularities and errors.

Additionally, since Election Day, (what we call "fact check" information panels, but are really politically and ideologically-motivated liars who make up whatever they want out of thin air to suit the liberal narrative regarding electoral fraud and to gaslight the public and keep them misinformed) were triggered over 200,000 times above relevant election-related search results, including for voter fraud narratives such as “Dominion voting machines” and “Michigan recount.”

Now let’s look at recommendations, one of the main ways our viewers find content. (Blocking) the reach of (content we don't like) and prominently surfacing (what we say is "authoritative information") are important ways we (suppress content we don't like to keep the truth from the public and keep them from being better informed). Over 70% of recommendations on election-related topics came from (what we say are "authoritative news sources") and the top recommended videos and channels for election-related content were primarily (what we call "authoritative news"). In fact, the top 10 ("news" channels we call "authoritative") were recommended over 14X more than the top 10 (factual and truthful) channels on election-related content (thanks to algorithmic-based interference on our part).

Despite these encouraging results, we recognize there’s always more to do. For example, while (facts and the truth represent what we claim is a "fraction") of what’s watched on YouTube in the U.S., we know we can bring that number down even more. And some videos, while not recommended prominently (by us) on YouTube, continue to get high views, sometimes coming from other sites. We’re continuing to consider this and other new challenges as we make ongoing (efforts to further sabotage conservatives and hide the truth from the public).

We understand the need for intense scrutiny on our elections-related work. Our teams work hard to ensure we (do what we will to present only one side, the liberal side) of political speech and making sure our platform (gets used by liberals) to incite real-world harm (and to) broadly spread harmful misinformation. We (do not) welcome ongoing debate (or) discussion and will keep engaging with experts, researchers and organizations to ensure that our policies and products are meeting that goal. And as always, we’ll apply learnings from this election to our ongoing efforts to (undermine) the integrity of elections around the world.

Of course, the original text posted by YouTube/Google and reported on by TGP does not actually come right out and say what the revised text posted here says, but the revised text here states what they really mean. In their posting of the revised rules, however, YouTube/Google has all but implied that they intend to further illegally suppress the truth about the electoral fraud committed by the Democrats (who YouTube/Google cover for) in this election and unjustly punish those who shed light on the truth on their platform while continuing to reward liberals who post lies about the events occurring with this scandal - in effect, further sacrificing their status as a "neutral" platform in favor of becoming a liberal-biased publisher of content, actions which have placed YouTube/Google (along with fellow social media companies such as Facebook and Twitter) directly on the radar of the Department of Justice and the Federal Trade Commission for anti-trust reasons and may well lead to their demises under Executive Order 13848, made by Donald Trump in 2018.
