Conservative Themes of the Confederation

• Liberty and Personal Agency: Article 2 is like the 2nd Amendment of the US constitution only far more expansive. It guarantees the right to bear arms is always a "right" and not a privilege granted by the government through things like permits. Constitutional open carry, castle doctrine, and stand-your-ground are universal constitutional rights as the founders of America always intended (the "well-regulated" in "well-regulated militia" means well-trained and regular, not restricted by government law, the big mistake all gun control is built on). Arms are not taxed or regulated in anyway in regards to purchasing, carrying, or just possessing. It's not up to the government to decide the standard of who possesses arms because they always set the standard badly.

The Galactic Federation, The Deconstruction/Parody of Star Trek's Idealistic Nonsense

I already hinted earlier about the impracticality of the Federation's "uniforms" and in Star Trek, that was because Roddenberry insisted on Starfleet not looking "militarized" which is why they wear those impractical space pajamas, initially designed by William Ware Theiss and later refined in TNG season three by Robert Blackman.
