Equal Parenting Bill

Equal Parenting Bill is legislation sponsored by conservative Texas state Sen. Bryan Hughes and others in its 2023 biennial legislative session. Bill numbers HB3379 & SB1702, this legislation would restore the important role of fathers in custody battles, and end the bias against them by family courts.[1] This bill is also being considered in Ohio in 2023.
This bill has reportedly already been successful in Arkansas and Kentucky.
