Dutch Americans

Dutch Americans are American people of either full or partial ancestry from the Netherlands. Dutch people have made settlements in the United States as far back as Colonial America. Most of them are Lutherans or other Protestants. Similarly to German Americans, they can be found nationwide, though they are less prevalent in states such as Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Arkansas, New Mexico, and the New England region.
