Duncanville, Texas

Duncanville is a city in Texas, a suburb on the southern edge of Dallas.

Texas Governor Greg Abbott graduated from Duncanville High School.

The city calls itself "City of Champions" due to the athletic success of the high school's programs. Its most dominant program is in girls' basketball; the team is among the state's (and nation's) elite programs, having won 12 state championships and twice having undefeated streaks exceeding one hundred games.
