The Dow Jones Media Titans index is a stock market index that tracks the performance of 30 of the world’s largest media companies, totaling 30 companies in all.
In 2022, this index lost 40% of its value, falling from $1.35 trillion to $808 billion.[1] This was a far greater loss than in other sectors, such as telecommunications (-11.2%) and banking (-14.5%).
