Digit

In mathematics, a Digit is a symbol used to represent the idea of a number. The Arabic numeral system uses these digits: <math>0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9</math>

In anatomy, Digits are at the ends of all Tetrapod limbs - in humans, fingers and toes are digits. In birds and bats, the bones supporting the wings are elongated digit bones.
