Desi Arnaz, Sr. (1917-1986) was a Cuban-born American bandleader, actor and television producer. He was the first husband of Lucille Ball. In the television series I Love Lucy, he played Lucy's husband Ricky Ricardo. He was also the co-founder of Desilu Productions, the company which produced I Love Lucy and which also produced such classic TV shows as The Untouchables, The Lucy Show and the original Star Trek.
