Debate: Is America a Christian nation?

Although the majority of Americans are Christian that doesn't make it a Christian Nation, a Christian Nation would be a state that enforces Christianity as the law just like a Muslim nation is a country that enforces Islamic law. Our laws are secular and our legal system is secular. In order for us to be a Christian Nation would have to enforce Christian law and by the way that it's against the US Constitution because the First Amendment says that Congress make no law respecting an establishment of religion.
